De Angels Qoofolf There are four committees in the Social Committee. There are the Publicity Committee, Program Committee, Decoration and Clean-Up, and the Refreshment Committee. The sponsors of the committees are Publicity - Mrs. Tang Program - Miss Hobson, Decorations and Clean-Up - Mr. White, and Refreshment - Mrs. Danzy The Publicity Committee advertises dances and other activities, the Program Com- mittee schedules when they will be, the Decorations Committee decorates for the activity and is responsible for Clean-Up, and the Refreshment Committee takes care of the refreshments. 'AJ V - in , , In ' geafufwlv Because of all the semester changes this year the Stu- dent Council was divided into two semester groups. Left is the first semester Council and below is the second semester Council. The second semester Student Council members had to attend leadership meetings every Tuesday moming for five weeks. If they did not attend at least three of the five they would lose their position on the Council. Mem- bers were chosen in their first period classes. Sponsors of the Student Council were Mr. Dugan and Mr. Branham. Mr. White sponsored the leadership meetings on Tuesday momings and held them in his room. Mrs. Danzy has taught at De Anza ever since it opened. This year she sponsored the Refreshment Committee. Mrs. Tan has also been here ever since De Anza opened.
