The de- vice they are using is called a money separator because it separates money into its different denominations: pennies, dimes, nickels, and quarters. Mr. Bentz is one of our counselors here at De Anza. Mr. Bentz likes kids and tries to understand their problems. He finished his M.A. degree at Long Beach State College last summer, Mr, Bentz is a counselor this year for six periods and teaches one period of Science. ,J v,,, Lf Lf

' fi Mr. Dugan, Dean of Boys, is happily looking at the trophy won by the students of De Anza in the fair parade. Mr. Dugan was the one who helped, with the help of a few students, get the float thing started. I2 Mrs. Wilcox, Mr. Guthrie's secretary, pictured left, is busily typing.
