june 1957 marks the completion of an important part of your life and the beginning of a new and eventful phase, when your responsibilities as a young man Will be greatly increased. If you are college bound, have the good sense to realize that the start you make, the industry you show, and the degree to which you become an important factor in the success of your employeras venture will constitute the keynote to your vocational future. I need not emphasize the importance of maintaining an intelligent out- look and an informed status as a citizen. The society in which We live is changing rapidly. New problems are posed daily, and these require the thoughtful consideration of every one of us, if mistakes are to be avoided and progress is to be made.
