The quiet of a Sunday afternoon was shattered by news of the Pearl Harbor tragedy .... Mr. Clark's simple, but stirring address set the keynote to Clintons participation in the war effort .... Bond sales soared .... A War stamp barometer was set up in the rotunda .... Numerous War drives received full support from Clinton .... We still had normal activities . . .Cn 0. dances . , . elections. 1942 . . . SPRING: We were fourth termers with one-half ofthe rocky road to graduation almost over .... Is Zat So, Clinton Nite production, was a smash hit .... The city championship was captured by Clinton's track team .... Fire drills were augmented by air-raid drills ..,.
