Lady Lowell corroborated this statement, and on hearing this, Knight EFFINGHAM MURRAY ffewest testsl asked Lady Lowell whether she had found the discussion interesting. Before she could give the obvious answer, Knight DEAN EDMUND FOOTE fbest naturedl said, i'Come, come, gentlemen, let this bickering cease. Knight Burns is really a nice fella. Everyone agreed with Knight Foote on this point. The party returned to the castle, where they celebrated the return of the missing pair. Knight ARCHIE ISAACS fwittiestl amused the company with his sparkling repartee, and to make the occasion a momentous one, Knight Burns chanted the law of di! minishing returns. With this as a bedtime story, it was not long before all were asleep.
