Today was SepTember l3, I937, The day oT days-his TirsT day in high school. He couldn'T aTford To be IaTe! AT 7:32 a.m. HamleT sTepped Through The porTals oT DeWiTT ClinTon High School. On reaching his assigned room, he Timidly poked his head Through The door. As no one hir him, he broughT The resT oT his body in wiTh him. An imporTanT looking personage aT The TronT oT The room handed him a more imporTanT looking documenT-known Tamiliarly as a Program Slip.
