. . eflnswer With ebirth f S irit Spirit signs and posters on every window and wall greeted entering students this fall. These were the signals, the key to a most highly-spirited year. Student leaders elected last spring had determined to overcome the apathy and low morale of the student body. This new spirit consisted of enthusiastic support and cheering at games and assemblies, brightly-colored bulletin boards and participa- tion of many clubs in the Christmas window contest. Ticket sales for all events were high. The magazine drive was a success. Most important of all, however, teachers commented that this year students displayed a desire and a willingness to study and learn.
