The Executive and Activities Boards sponsored these projects as well as Don Sharpe Day . Karen Franklin, Publicity Commissioner, assembles the Peace Corp bulletin board outside l22. Kelegougan Claims DeVilbiss' Sister School Pennies for Peace Corps, raised by TADS, built a school in Kelegougan, Togo. The 51,000 collected during Peace Corps Week made possible this Student Council project. Monday's bakesale led the way to a Battle of the Bands on Friday with The Caretakers and Chairmen Mao's Peace Corps Band . Saturday featured an open in the girls' gym. The Togian School will receive S5850 of the money while the remaining money will be used in another project. The money goes to buy materials and the townspeople provide the labor to build the school. November ll-l5 was truly a week for being thankful. Peace Corps canisters were at each lunch line during the week. 1 The concert featuring the Caretakers, and the bakesale made S880 .ik
