Deca, Sino-Soviet Center, A. F. S. Student, Add Variety to D. H S. NX S 5 Academically, students faced many innovations. Guided by a new principal, the DeVilbiss curriculum ex- panded to include a distributive education program and the first Sino-Soviet center in Toledo. Russian students held a banquet in November to widen their appreciation of Russian culture. The increased emphasis on voca- tional training fostered the formation of the DeVilbiss chapter of Distributive Education Clubs of America. Davis Ssekasi, our smiling A. F. S. student from Uganda, gave Tads a closer look at the African nations. T iger-in-the-Court, Homecoming Parade, a D. Ii S. Graduate, Spark Spirit Tads showed great enthusiasm for other school pro- jects. A well-known 1963 graduate, Jim Detwiler,I re- turned to speak encouragingly at a football assembly. For the annual Homecoming Parade, many clubs and other groups spent hours making floats and decorating cars. After more than a year of waiting, Tads finally saw the Tiger-in-the-Court.
