A fhpax .I f fi' 4 ' W 0 ' 'uv un I Hear DeViIbiss Singing De-Vilbiss High School is an orchestra, Indeed, this may sound like an ambiguous statement, but first let us examine our school to prove the tact that DeVilbiss is constantly filled with colorful music. Listen to the varied strains of the orchestra: the clatter and the chatter in the halls, the marching music of the type- writers, the cheering masses at the games, the whir and stir in the machine shop, the hushed harmony of the Christ- mas carolers in the library, the drone of recitation, the clang and bang ofthe cafeteria, the melody of freedom of speech, the staccato of the gym whistle, the melodious flow of a foreign language, the sportive spirit of the class sings . It is hard to think of all this as being music, but nevertheless, it expresses our feelings, from the gayest to the most serious
