Senior Class 0 cers President. . . . Secretary ....... Vice-Presidenl .... Treasurer ....... We, the class of 1943, are about to graduate. How closely the past, the present, and the future seem to intertwine as we stand at the climax of one life and at the beginning of another. How easy it is to recall our first dazed wanderings through the halls of DeVilbiss-our keen excite- ment at being in high school-our flrst dance, the Freshman Frenzy. Pictures of class room and club activities flash through the mind as our second and third years go by in retrospect-the Blackout,,' our Sophomore Prom, the J-Hopg Growing Pains, our junior Playg the Junior- Seni'or Farewell Dance. Our present year has seen changes brought about by the war, but we have been very fortunate in maintaining an almost normal schedule of activities. We held our Mid-Winter Dance at the Women's Building in honor of our football squadg we celebrated our Senior Prom at the Trianong we . . . . .JACK HARBAUGH . .. .. .. .BETTY HOYT . . . BARBARA WELDAY ..........f.DONRUFF enjoyed a Senior Banquet followed by a Farewell Dance at which we were feated by the Juniors. Soon, Collingwood Presbyterian Church will see us at Baccalaureate Service. We will be gradu- ated at the Colony Theater this year since the University Field House, where graduation has been held in former years, has been taken over by the Army Air Corps. Thus, as we come upon the termination of our high school days, we are at a pause between yesterday and tomorrow. The future is so close we can reach out and touch it. To many of us it means going into the Services of our country, to some it means taking positions here at the home front in industry, to others, it means preparing for a better America through a college education. All of us realize that our task is ready for us-to win this war, and to make from it a future bright with the reality of our present dreams.
