SE IOR We, the Senior Class of DeVilbiss High School, are the most influential governing body -the balance-the Senate of the School. We began our term of otiice with The Bat, a talented production in which we dramatized the unwritten law of success. Then came the Senior Mid-Winter Dance, a snow spectacle of music, dancing, and frivol- ity which won our unanimous vote of approval. Later, the women senators honored their mothers with a tea. In order not to be in a minority, the males then complimented their fathers with a banquet. The next issue on which we took parlimen- tary procedure was the Senior Prom. It is needless to speak of the graciousness that reigned at this social affair. The Senior Banquet, followed by the junior- Senior Farewell Dance also displayed our diplomatic elegance. As a result of the capa- bility shown by the Junior Class at this event, we leave to them the spoils of next year's two term rule at DeVi1biss. . Our term of office is drawing to a close and we are presented with the Bill of Life at an impressive Baccalaureate Service. Commencement marks the end of our duties as senators and climaxes our first step in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. CLASS KEITH WEMMER, President DICK NUFFER, Treasurer MARY ANN LEPKE, Secretary PRITCHARD REEG, Vice-President MRS. ETHEL PASQUIER, Adviser MR. RUSSELL BROWN, Adviser' RUTH OLDS PATSY LUTZ -Editors 17
