There were many good prospects for our team this year, and during the season we proved our mettle. NVQ: Continued our fight in the Niagara-Orleans league, and as our record will show, we did very well. Uur first game was with St. Alarys. Xve heat them hy a score of 16-2. It was a non-league game, hut we showed our possibilities for the season. There were no exciting happenings in this contest except that when U'Hara, while attempting to score for St. Mary, threw a block at Iim Nlaher, who was catching that day. iNT2'l.llCl' was hit helow the knees on the shin guards, hut it was nothing serious. Xve had our second game with St. .wary also, and this time we were lmeaten hy a score of 9-6. This game was also non-league. Royal-Hartland was our next victim, and we trimmed them l-1-0. Doug Xvarren, who pitched a heautiful game, had a total of lfi strikeouts. As tar as hits went, Tom Hayes hit a triple, and Vince Oliva hit a douhle.
