Being under the state rule of only hav- ing eight hours a week to practice, players were encour- aged to practice on their own. The school joined the Sleepy Hol- low country club and, if weather permitted, players could sign in and play individually. To play golf, students had to try-out because of limited space. The girls couldn't be forgotten.
