Sister Mary Maywalt Mr. Fahy, in his first year at DeSales, has proven to be a tremendous help to those Juniors and Seniors who require guidance in selecting their next avenues oflife. He introduces students to a variety of colleges and careers which he feels will best suit the students’ needs as well as explaining the paperwork required to get them there. His past experiences in administration, and the good rapport he carries with the students, gives an added dimension to his work. Usually in a high school the vice-principal is not expected to take very many tasks which demand great responsibility. Sister Mary is the exception. For the past three years she has organized the Candy Drive and Christmas Kit drive as well as the usual jobs of attendance, discipline and student scheduling. Her role this year, as part of the team, is that of Assistant Administrator. In her responsibility for recruitment she master- minded “Spirit Day” which over two-hundred eighth graders from surrounding school districts attended. Mr. John Fahy

ADMINISTRATION Mr. Edward Tracey Chief Administrator A school is only as good as the people behind it. Mr. Tracey, in his five years as principal at De Sales, has proven this. He has shown through his tireless efforts for the school, its faculty, and its students, that De Sales is truly the best place to be for a high school education.
