you gei back iwo The class of 1977 is proud to dedicate this yearbook to an organization that has worked in earnest to keep DeSales functioning. This organization is S. O. S. Two and a half years ago, January 26, 1975, we were given the disheartening news that our school was to close after sixty-three years of operating in Geneva. Certain people refused to give in to what seemed inevitable. These people came to be known as members of S. O. S. - SAVE OUR SCHOOL. It is past history now that they did the impossible: raised eighty thousand dollars in thirty days and eventually handed over a check for one- hundred thousand dollars, which put DeSales back on its feet. The story that hasn't been told is today’s story - dedicated people like Mr. Joe D'Amico who has one idea after another for bringing in funds, or of the entire Muzzi family who organized Monday night Bingo. Is there any project that doesn't have the help of the Crough family, Mrs. Rice, or Mr. or Mrs. DeRaddo? Your constant contact is Mrs. Monahan. We have not named them all, nor all the projects that they run, but we want all the members of S. O. S. to know that we are grateful. 13 Mr. and Mrs. Philip Crough
