Sister Mary Arm Mayer Vibrations are signs of life. They are also signs that people need to talk to each other, need to know what makes each other tick. Vibrations are for sharing. When shared, one person's vibrations can even draw vibrations from others. Together they can be twice as vi- brant. Sound comes riding the waves. The best of the vibrating sound waves is the voice of someone to trust, some- one who trusts the real me. MAKE WAVES. Wherevor an imagination is stretch- ing there are vibrations. These vibra- tions tell something about all the world might yet become: MORE. Wherever something or someone is growing, vibrations occur as new sides of familiar faces appear, and friends re-NEW acquaintance. these two good friends who shared with us DeSales' Spirit. 3 I will not fear tomorrow because I have known yesterday and have loved today.

When through one man a little more goodness comes into the world, then that man's life has had meaning ! Father Richard Hart KNOW YOUR VIBRATIONS: A vi- brating world whore no one can identify the vibrations, is a shaky world. The world is vibrating at many fre- quencies: happiness, joy, loneliness, fear, poverty, worry, and the spirits of adventure and imagination all have their frequencies. It is a chal- lenge to learn to recognize them all. DARE is a four-letter word. CARE is also a four-letter word. But DARE TO CARE is hot a profanity. And people who do it are vibrators. They say to the world: World, you've got possi- bilities. Things that cause vibrations are things that can make a difference. What people DO, THINK or FEEL. All this can make a difference. Pastor of St. Francis De Sales Parish Reverend Raymond Nolan Pastor of St. Stephen's Parish Mr. William McDonald President of Geneva Catholic Schools Board In 1912 De Sales was founded as an extension of St. Francis elementary school with the Sisters of St. Joseph and priests of both Geneva parishes as its faculty. In 1924 the freshman and the commercial department were moved to the present site, into an old house facing on Pulteney Street. In 1929. with Father Ball as principal, a brick structure was added (presently side to back stairs). While Father Nolan was prin- cipal, a fire destroyed the original frame building in 1943, but due to wartime condi- tions, it was not until 1951 that a new building could be constructed.
