SACRED HEART ACADEMY AWAY JANUARY 29, 1959, although De Sal- es team played a good game, they fell victim to Sacred Heart 18-24. Linda Ferris and Diane Dean played their usual fine game. The LI.V.'s were beaten 7-14. MOUNT HOME FEBRUARY 5, 1959, in the first game against St. Mary's, De Sales was outdone 24-42. DECEMBER 13, 1958, a spirited De- Sales girls varsity overpowered St. Mary's for the Deaf 23-17 in its first game. Co- operation and teamwork were excellent on the part of the De Sales team. The J.V.'s followed the varsity's example by winning 20-8. ST. MARY'S SEMINARY HOME JANUARY 8, 1959, the De Sales var- sity scored its second win 30-20 over St. Mary's Seminary.
