DE SALES vs. DUFFY XYith spirits high on both sides, the Duffy Rapideers arrived at our home field on Oct. 26, to continue our arch rivalry. This year's Duffy team, which had been in the making since 1956, came of age. On the first play from scrimmage, Erickson, went up the middle yards for a TD. Front then on, Duffy continued their rampage to a final score of 39-0. The Knights were keyed for the game, but failed to get their offense rolling and their defense was no match for Duffy's powerful offense. However losing was not a disgrace to this Duffy team as they were later crowned undefeated chalupions. O'Donnell about tu catch a pass as he is pursued hy a host of Duffy players. , , D ,, .

DE SALES vs. FALLON Once again the Knights journeyed to Civic Stadium October 19, only to be beaten by Fallon by way of a second half collapse. The first half was a dream. Our offense and defense ran smoothly being led by Den Schuler, joe Farchione, Al Muscarella and Dick Palladino. But the second half was a nightmare be- ginning with a kickoff return by a Flyer back. From this point on the Fallon offensive machine could not be stopped. Tedesco consistently threw passes to his favorite receiver, Carlisle, for big gains. The final score, 37-0, however, did not justify the Knight's fine play in the first half. Schuler pursues a Fallon back Palladino receives a block. sf as a 5? lg!! fiery -5 A I-'Iyer back breaks into the clear.
