XVII-I' Krispin Caldwell The opening of school in 1975 found Krispin busy ir academics and serving in the DHS French Club. She was an honor roll student who was destined to serve her school greatly in the years to come. She was selected most Spirited that year and served as a DHS cheerleader. In her second year, Krispin became a member of the Interact Club and lettered in gymnastics. When she became a junior, Krispin was elected to the prestigious Beta Club and attended the Literary Rally at Northwestern State University. She served as Junior Board member of Interact that year and became a member of the Annual Staff where she served as Classes Editor her junior year and Assistant Editor her senior year. Krispin's hard work and laurel gathering climaxed in her fourth year at DHS. She was selected to Who's Who Among American High School Students and Homecoming Queen. In addition, she was elected Most Popular at DHS. 50fWho's Who One of the busiest and most energetic students at DHS was Peggy Mayo, who began her activities as a freshman by serving in FBLA, Pilot Pack, and the Student Council a: a class representative. Peggy also participated in the Literary Rally at Northwestern. During her sophomore year, Peggy continued to add to her endeavors and honor: by serving in the Explorer Unit at Beauregard Memoria Hospital. In addition, she served as parliamentarian of the FBLA and was elected to serve on the Annual Staff. Peggyi: junior year continued to add extra work as she served ir the Beta Club, became Features Editor ofthe Annual Staff and was initiated into the Interact Club. As a senior, Peggy continued to serve her selected clubs and organizations anc was further honored by being selected first runner-up ir the BPWC Princess Pageant and nominated to Who's Whc Among American High School Students. She capped-of: her activities her fourth year by serving as Editor-in-Chie: of the DHS Annual Staff.

Larry Simmons Larry's four years at DHS were very active. He partici- pated in football, baseball, basketball and track, lettering his junior and senior years in both football and baseball. He was selected to the Summer League Baseball All-Stars for four years. His sophomore through his senior year, he was in the Key Club. His junior year he represented his class as Junior Board Member and his senior year he was Sergeant- at-Arms in the club. He attended the Key Club Convention for two years. He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. For two years he participated in the science fair. He was selected to be listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. Larry's four years at DHS have been culminated with his being rated 'lMost Popular. His future plans include attending Baylor Univer- sity, majoring in pre-medicine. Lydia Johnson Lydia's hard work and outgoing personality carried her successfully through her four years at DHS. During her freshman year, she began her membership in the Rodeo Team and Club, she became an outstanding member of the gymnastics team, and was selected as a member of the Pilot Pack Program. As a sophomore, Lydia began her service to the Juniorette Club and was elected as one of the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders. She received the title of DHS All-Around Cowgirl and was voted Sweetheart of the Rodeo Team. In her junior year, Lydia became a reporter for the Drag-On Newspaper Staff and a member of the Varsity Cheerleader Squad. Lydia became a Senior Sweetheart of the DHS Key Club, a member of the Beta Club, and was chosen to serve on the Homecoming Court her senior year. She highlighted all of this with being nominated to Who's Who Among American High School Students. MVIH1 S
