E DENSIVE SI3IIQIT?I The seniors of '79 certainly proved their spirit during homecoming week this past October. They did this by building the longest spirit chain ever recorded in the history of the Student Council Spirit Chain Contest. The chain was constructed of 1,667 blue, construction paper links, had a lenth of 418 feet and stretched 6 times around the DHS gym floor. This humongous chain cost the ambitious class approximately S96 to build. It was made possible by a three day mass collection of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar bills. All in all, this year's winning -chain showed the definite amount of spirit that the class of '79 possessed. I 92 fSeniors
