The DHS Juniorette Club is a girl's service organization of 30 members. They are interested in helping their school and community in any ways possible. This year they did an outstanding job. The club held a Cystic Fibrosis Campaign, in which they raised over S1,000, and a Heart Fund Drive. They also helped with Community Concerts, Adult Education Week, and the Special Olympics. The club was very active in school activities. They held poster parties and participated in Spirit Week during Homecoming. They attended state convention where they won Outstanding Juniorette Club, and top honors in all divisions. As a branch of the Junior Woman's Club, the girls are selected on the basis of leadership ability and scholastic achievement.
