He has participated on the Dragon football team all four years he has been at DHS. Kinney has been an active member of the Key Club for his sophomore, junior, and senior years. Being such an asset to the club, Kinney was voted Vice' President his junior year and served as President of the club his senior year. As a result of Kinney's fine qualities and abilities. he was voted the title of Mr. DHS his senior year. Kinney also partici- pated on the Dragon track team his freshman and sophomore years, the Drama Club his junior year and in the newly organized Fellowship of Christian Athletes his senior year. Clara Harris Clara Harris is one of DHS's most cheerful and outgoing stu- dents. She served as a class officer her sophomore, junior, and senior years In addition, she was elected to the Student Council her freshman. sophomore, and junior years. Clara was a very talented member of the gymnastic team at DHS her junior and senior years and was voted by her classmates to serve as cheerleader her junior and senior years She was again honored by being elected class beauty her junior and senior years, runner-up to class favorite her senior year and Best All Around from her senior class Clara was elected to serve on the 1974-75 Homecom- ing Court. Added to these many activities. she was on the DHS track team her freshman and sophomore years, and was a member of Future Homemakers of America. Kay Shirley The possessor of a dynamic personality and unlimited initiative, Kay has been a leading figure in campus activities at DHS. She actively participated in the Dragon Band for four years. As a junior she was selected majorette and senied as Co-Head her senior year. Kay's twirling ability culminated by being chosen as a twirler with the Louisiana State All Star Marching Band. Her musical talents won her a place in the District Honor Band her freshman and junior years, and the DHS Symphonic Band her junior and senior years. Kay was a valuable asset to the Annual Stall as a junior and served as Editor-in-Chiel her senior year. With tireless spirit, Kay worked on the Student Council one year and was a member of the Drama Club the last three years. In addition, she was a Valentine Court Princess her sophomore year and voted Most Likely To Succeed her senior year. Kay's efforts in various organizations were recognized when she was chosen Miss DHS her senior year. Bill Soles Bill Sales s enthusiasm and willingness to work has won him much acclaim throughout his years at DHS. Bill was a valuable member of the Student Council for all four of his high school years. As a sophomore, his first year as a Key Clubber, he was a board member. His junior year he served his club and the state of Loui- siana as Lt. Governor, and as a senior in Key Club he holds the of- fice ot treasurer. Bill has also been a participant in the athletic pro- gram at DHS. He has been an important member of the Dragon football team for the past four years. As a junior, Bill was on the first DHS baseball team and participated on it his senior year. Bill was a charter member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
