RAemem Exam Qame The threat of showers failed to dampen the spirit of hundreds of DePauw students who made the 30-mile trek to see the Monon Bell game on November 10. The game, broadcast nationally on ESPN, drew a ctowd which packed the Little Giants' stadium. To further the enthusiasm of De Pauw fans, the Union Board fur- nished porn poms, noisemakers, and bumper stickers. In the atmosphere of rivalry be- tween the two teams, the Tigers and Little Giants struggled for possession of the Monon Bell. While the Tigers put forth a strong performance with senior Steve Shadoan's 40-yard field goal and completed touchdown pass to junior Tim Weaver, Wabash ended up winning the game and the traditional Monon Bell with a score of 41-26. 11. ::g 14 Campus Life

Fall Parents Weekend DPU Dads And Moms Watch Tigers Beat Albion 21-6 Some parents strolled around cam- pus enjoying the fall weather. Others relaxed in the Hub. Some went to the variety of shows and exhibits for enter- tainment. But all of the parents who attended Fall Parents Weekend, September 29 and 30, spent the time catching up on the news from their son or daughter. Parents and children gathered in the UB lobby for a student-parent mixer, and the Career Planning and Placement Center held an open house. The Colle- gians performed in Bowman Park. Some families saw Little Theater's pro- duction Blithe Spirit after the steak fry in the UB. The parents who went to the football game watched the Tigers win their 21st home game in-a-row in Blackstock. Parents also had the chance to see the soccer team lose to MacMurray, 2-1 but beat Blackburn 2-1.
