Qchdl Geld The Tradition Continues Old Gold is a tradition. It is a time when alumni return to their alma mater - a time to remember and a time to be remembered. At DePauw, students are used to seeing friends together. During Old Gold weekend, friends who no longer live across campus from one an- other can be together again. This year's Old Gold was a time for the students, faculty, alumni, and com- munity to be entertained. Some at- tempts for entertainment failed. The huge hot air balloon failed to rise due to the strong wind. The same breeze grounded the sky jumper. But Tiger victory entertained the crowd. It was the Tiger's 22nd victory at home when they beat the Kenyon Lords 38-12. Becky Brumbaugh, senior, won the Old Gold queen crown. And Bamboo, a live bengal tiger, jogged around the track at half time.
