Students often find themselves asking what IS the purpose of all the study, late nights, toil, and anxiety? Many students began resolv- ing this question by talking with and ques- tioning professionals who are already out in the real world, Some of these profes- sionals gathered on the DePauw campus October 26th, in the Union Building. The Career Fair was sponsored by Academic Council. Seniors were not the only students in- terested in this Career Fair; underclass- men also took advantage of this opportu- nity to look into the future. h After Four Years . . . Philanthropies . . One must take time to think about oth- ers that are less fortunate. DePauw,s many philanthropic programs donate ' time and money toward worthwhile causes, and the students have fun at the same time. The Sigma Chits held a week long trampoline marathon in memory of a brother. Their battle to attain money for leukemia proved successful as they sur- passed their $10,000 goal. The Tri Del- ta,s put on a spaghetti dinner and the Alpha Omicrom Pi women plunged into their annual blood drive. These efforts are well worth the satisfaction received from the unselfish giving.
