Sure new requirements, except for music majors. does anyone remember the other issues? Well, possibly you had an hourly. or a house dance, and there wasnt time to worry about young faculty, dinosaurs, and the war. But the rain continues, cars stalled in the streets, someone said they saw an ark, but that you know would really mess up an Old Testa ment exam, so pretend you didn't see. Umbrella? Whats that? Blue jeans and a T-shirt never were hurt by a little rain? Game of frisbee? In the rain? Sure, my 2 o'clock is BORING anyway, and the roof leaks the drops distract me. Got a match? A what? A match. Oh, a match. Sure. let me light it, and can I bum one, you see I'm broke I just made a room and board payment. and I'm working my way through school. Working you? Sure it's easy to earn 5000 dollars. What are you doing? can't say, it's not LEGAL No student shall be turned away from DePauw for lack of funds. Oh, yeah, then what about x and y and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sleep, sleep, Wake up, you're missing your nine . . . my nine? Red tape . . . sounds like the commies to me. I've heard there are commies out in THE WORLD. Whats the world like? I don't know, they don't have a class on it and anyway . . . I'm pre-med, and I really wouldn't have time to take it . . . No one to teach it . . . faculty outback . . . no one left. A young professor? Let's see now, I used to know what that was . . Levine? Wasn't he THE one? Yeah, I wanted to help, but you see I was busy and my parents are alums, and I hate to get involved in anything POLITICAL. Dogs, sunny days, alligators at FIII isle . . goldfish, and TIGERS. Animals all over . . . dinosaurs . . . sure all kinds of old things at DePauw like fire escapes, tenure, rules No drinking at DePauw, except of course if you are 21 and sneak down to the bar, Toppers, 7-13. Sure, bring home a tapper, sneak it into the room, and be quiet . . Too bad the rules aren't obeyed anymore . . we could use some peace and quiet . . . but how can you hear the quiet?? Especially with the E.C. bell ringing at ALL hours of the night and the Sig Chi's running around the boulder. Not to mention all the people trying to get their pictures in Playboy. But relax, go to the Duck and sit and rap, drink cider and let the music envelop you go to the art center and work, or hang around out on the lawns, if you don't mind the mud, take a walk, and let the mid-west air make you forget about everything except yourself and nature.
