egygrig Student Education Association A love for children, an interest in learn- ing, and a sincere desire to become a good teacher-these are the marks of an SEA member. Through monthly meetings and volunteer work, the Stu- dent Education Association strives to broaden knowledge of the teaching profession outside the classroom. First year teachers participated in a panel dis- cussion expressing their feelings on that all important first year. Tutoring pro- grams and learning workshops became the group's special projects. And, at the end of the year, job interviews were held for graduating seniors. Interest Groups 21

Little Theatre Little Theatre is the force behind most of the theatrical endeavors on the DePauw campus. This year the group per formed four plays, Picnic, Any Wednesday, A Long Day's Journey into Night, and as an experiment The Boy- friend. The group hadn't done a musical for six years, and Dr. Elrod and Mr. Sutton, who choose each year's shows, recognized the higher costs involved in such a production. As usual, however, Little Theatre produced a year of excep- tionally fine entertainment. Student Interest Groups 23
