Guest composer was Ed Summerlin, who directed liturgical jazz. The weekas theme was The Word . . . Is? Also on the agenda were such notables as Joseph Barr, assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury; J ohn McNaughton, deputy assistant in the De- partment of Defense; Dr. Roger Ortmayer, Southern Meth- odist professor of religion Who spoke in conjunction with RE. week, and Robert S. Bates, civil defense director for Indiana. Several ministers of importance throughout the country rounded out the program.
