D.. 7xl't'LlSUI'L'I' The tools to him that can handle them. said Carlyle. and apparently President Hughes was of this mind when he induced Dr, Town to leave his pastorate and come to DePauw in a new capacity, for he has remained and continued the work through twenty-three years, During his years of service, Dr. Town has guided the Uni- versity through hard times and prosperous times, but under all circumstances he has handled the nnancial responsibilities in a way that demands respect and coinmendation.
