Success is not merely the result of talent or genius; it comes from persistent dedication and moral commitment. That is the spirit of DePaul: its founders, its instructom and its students. Although this mission is as old as humanity, DePaul as a university is farfrom traditional. As students, we come from a mixed background, more often from one that can scarce 1y afford higher education. We attend at day or night, and nearly all of us hold full or part time jobs.

We are not traditional students. Perhaps because ofthese untraditional traits, we have leamed from juggling finances; schedules and human energy in the pursuit of an education.
