Success is not merely the result of talent or genius; it comes from persistent dedication and moral commitment. That is the spirit of DePaul: its founders, its instructom and its students. Although this mission is as old as humanity, DePaul as a university is farfrom traditional. As students, we come from a mixed background, more often from one that can scarce 1y afford higher education. Perhaps because ofthese untraditional traits, we have leamed from juggling finances; schedules and human energy in the pursuit of an education.
