The University and its students take much from the city, but the relation is reciprocal. Professors such as Dr. Posin write informative columns for the Sunday newspaper magazines. They give free lectures throughout the city. Dr. Hart is running an informati e television series on Communism. Members of the School of Music like Victor Aitay are also members of the Chicago Symphony and other orchestras in the Chicago area. The main purpose of the University is to give the city its professional young people, well-educated morally and scholastically.
