CLCM t The head of the Commerce department is again this year Mr. Wil- liam Phee. Mr. Phee's desire for student activity within the school can be easily understood for Mr. Phee is the Commerce Club Moder- ator, advisor to the Demon Staff, and a member of the Academys Athletic board. l-lis hearty cooperation is shown by the football games basketball engagements dances first Fridays which are all W I Phee iiarlced days on his calendar B s C Fr Norman represents De Paul at its best Laughter in his speech warmth in his smile and disciplin in his mode of teaching Fr Nor ian truly takes the spirit of De Paul to heart for all who attend his Latin classes will agree Another alumnus of De Paul the tall gentleman with the derby liat 1 Mr Rorke Economics geography history and English com p ise this versatile gentlemen s day He loves a debate and will lis ten to anyone s point of view Rev C A Norman C M A M Mr McGrath A B M E M T H Horke AM During the pa t two years at De Paul the Academy has seen a trci endous increase of victories in the basketball teams This is i io tly due to our coach Mr McGrath who has seen both a good light weight team and an excellent heavyweight team emerge from De Paul ln addition to coaching his hard court Demons Mr McGrath teaches Latin and French Rev E I Brennan M A M Brennan This year Fr Brennan was appointed to the athletic staff and everyone agrees that this was a wise move for Fr Brennan is noted fo his athletic abilities l-lis understanding and ability to put li point across gixe h m top rating on the students list ln the past years De Paul has found that without Mr Deeny D Paul would not be the same l-lis strict discipline in all of his classe s well knowri thruout the school This year Mr Deeny has inauau rated at D Paul with the help of Mr Leifel a club which furthers the lnawledae of science within the students We hope that in the future with the help cf Wlr Deeny tl is club will materialize and grow B I D 'ml' Plgr F P , . . , .5 - - A f i l 1 l ' I Y. . .
