GREGORY DALE ALLEN Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4 Baseball 3 Most Memorable Moment: Basketball Most Admired: Nate “Tiny” Archibald, He was favorite Boston Celtic ball player of all time. And of course, Larry Bird for being the best ever to play the game. Future Plans: Pose as a skinhead so I get on Geraldo Rivera’s talk show and break his nose. After that, I’ll move to Boston and become the next voice of the Boston Celtics. Also, I wouldn’t mind smoking a victory cigar with Red Auerbach. Interests: My bubble blower, Ken and Barbie, fish bowls, athletes foot, moldy cheese, Boston Celtics, picking berries, Ronald Reagan, Mr. Rodgers, KISS, and Definitely not school. MATTHEW ELLIOTT BAKER (Tater- head) Activities: Student Council 3, 4 Spanish Club 1, FFA 1, 2, 3 Basketball 1, 2, 4, Class Pres. 1, 4 Most Memorable Moment: Dashers timber in the Rambler, G ‘n’ R Concert and that unforgettable night in Champaign when I got to sit in the back of a white Chrysler with blue and red lights on top of it. Most Admired: Brett Baker, because of his ability to round up fat chicks with a snap of his finger and Justin Smith because he can face the public in an old Buick. Future Plans: Graduate and go to the Navy for 6 years. Then settle down somewhere and own the things that I’ve always wanted. Interests: Fords, Lincolns, and Mercurys, Harley’s Music, slandering GM products, and insulting Mr. Mith and Trimble. MATHEW ALAN FLETCHER (Fletch) Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4, Baseball I, 2, Spanish Club 1, 2, 3, 4 Letterman’s Club 2, 3, 4 Student Council 4 (Treasurer) Picking up slips 3, 4, National Honor Society — maybe? Filling Pop Machines 2, 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: All the great times with THE BEAST, Getting my sign, That summer night on, campus with Bake — ‘‘Up against the cars”, all the concerts — especially going with Reeder, The year of the Physics dorks, and our fearless leader Phil (The Purple Blaze) Blazier, October 23, 1986 — who can forget that — Ba Ha! The year of Mrs. Brown’s study hall — “I’m gonna kill your kid.”, and lastly — every time somebody puked and I was there. Most Admired: Mr. Chris Haikalis A.K.A. — THE COACH. What can I say about this man, he was the best role model I could ever have. He did so much for me — like the time he told me to get off the uppers, and he helped our team beat Uni-High with IT TRUE? the crafty trick of using reverse psychology. I owe to this man a wonderful 4 win season. Gee — what a great guy. Future Plans: Go to Eastern for a couple of years majoring in Engineering and then transferring to the U of I to finish up. After that I’d like to get a good job and try the bachelor life for awhile. Eventually I’ll get married become so successful that I’ll never ever have to carry out another bag of groceries. Interests: Taking up a lot of space on the Senior pages in the yearbook, laughing at everybody, perfecting my sleeping in school technique, staying home forging notes — Ha Ha you never caught me!! Drawing attention to myself, getting out of High School, and finally — gettin what I can, and cannin’ what I get. P.S. — Wish you were here C.R. ERIC SHANE FOLLOWELL (monk-monk) Activities: Baseball 1, 2, 3, 4 Letterman’s Club 1, 2, 3, 4, FFA 1, 2, DA VC 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: Going to Chris Brock’s house so that Chris, Tara, Jane, and I can watch VCR movies and have fun all night. Also when Shane Brinkman and I wrecked my brother’s car on the Monticello blacktop. Most Admired: Lisa Phillips for having the biggest nose to stick in everyone’s business but her own. Future Plans: LakeLand Community to attend for 2 years. And to pose nude in the centerfold of Playgirl Magazine. LISA RENEGUM (Flex) Activities: Yearbook 2, 3, 4, FHA President 3, 4, DA VC 3, 4, FHA 1, 2 Future Plans: To get out of school and find a job in an office someplace. Interests: Having fun with friends. PARTY’N. KIMBERLY DAWN HOGAN (Hoag — but unfortunately Jill started Berly.) Activities: Cheerleading 1, 2, 3, Volleyball 1, 2, 3, 4, Softball 1, 4, Band 1, 2, 3, 4. Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4, Play 1, Musical 4, Yearbook 2, 3, 4, Spanish Club 1, 2, 3, 4, Letterman’s Club 2, 3, 4, FHA 4, Class Vice President 1, 2, 3, Student Council President 4, National Honor Society 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: Valentine’s Day (Night), 1987 — The day after I got my license. Remember, Jill? Most Admired: Jim McMahon — he’s unique. He does what he wants — without worrying about what others may thing. Future Plans: I plan on getting out of this hick-town and going to school at Eastern for 4 years. I hope to major in accounting (and minor in partying). After that I will get a good job that pays lots of money. Then I will settle down and hopefully become Mrs. Michael Brian Perkins. Interests: Music, poetry, opening presents, Spanish with Mrs. Brown, Rob Lowe, weekends with my friends (and Bud), shopping, money, beautiful sunny days, tractor rides, and of course, Brian. KARA JO MANNING (Kara Monster) Activities: Band 1, 2, 3, 4, President 4, Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4, Secretary 2, Solo Ensemble Contest 1, 2, 3, 4, Pom-Pon 1, 2, 3, 4, Spanish Club 2, 3, 4, Vice President 2, Spanish Honor Society 3, 4, IMEA District Band 2, 4 IMEA District Chorus 1, Volleyball 2, Stat 3, Class Secretary 4, Library Club 1, Musical 2, 4, School Play 1. Most Memorable Moment: My junior year, May 17 -’88, March 9th 1988, eighth hours (very interesting times!). Putting the car in a field, trips home from school via Bement, Monticello, Champaign, when a certain object hit the fan at Tonya’s, Prom ’88, May 20, 1988, the night lab after the chili supper. Most Admired: Robin Borton Scott — for her talent dedication; Rindo, Tonya, and Jennifer for friendship, support, an occasional loan, my family for the love, Mr. Blazier for the bad humor, the interesting times, the most important lesson, most of all the PATIENCE. Future Plans: After I graduate I plan to spend 2 years at Parkland studying Music Education and Spanish or Computers then get my bachelors degree in Music from either U of I, Wesleyan, or Northern. After a few years of teaching music I’d like to go back to get my masters in music. I also want to fall in love, get married, have 4 kids: Andrew Philip (Drew), Mishelle Breann, Laura Kristine, Nicholas Ryan live happily ever after in a big white Victorian house. Interests: Playing piano sax, singing, dancing, listening to music, driving, riding horses, being with friends or alone outside, DAYDREAMING, not College Prep. Math!!! SHERI DAWN McDORMAND (Jumpy, Red, MceeDee) Activities: Spanish Club 2, FFA 3, 4, FHA 3, 4, Student Council 3 Most Memorable Moment: The night Tami Allen my park got crashed. By the way, Happy B day Tam! Getting AI woods truck stuck in the show: Head Bangers Ball with Don, Tami Khris. Most Admired: My mom! She’s been behind me respects my decisions. school (God knows when!!), out and to spend my free time with Don. Later on in life we’ll probably live on a farm with Sandy Jack! Don I and Tami Tim will have our trailors parked in the back lot. By the way Tam, I need to borrow a cup of milk! Interests: Don Wegrich!! Cruzin with friends, going to parties, country cruzin with Donny Chad, our B.S. sessions, Clinton square, and Hardees!! KHRIS TINA MUSICK (Anna) Activities: Volleyball 1, Pom Pon 1, 3, 4, FHA 4, Yearbook 2, 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: The day Ricky Brown turned the school upside-down, the Headbangers Ball screaming in the hayloft. Most Admired: My Parents, for being the First Prize winners at making a teenag er’s life miserable. Future Plans: To graduate go to Parkland try to make something of myself if that doesn’t work I guess I will get married have 2.2 children, live in a white house with a white picket fence. Interests: Parties!! Rock -n- Roll, going to the beach, spending time with my friends especially spending time with Brian. Riding in fast cars with maniacs doing doughnuts with Tami Tiffiny. TAMZIN ANNJANETTE PRICE Activities: Band 1, 2, 3, Yearbook 2, 3, 4 FHA 4, Class Secretary 3, Student Council 4. Most Memorable Moment: February 27, 1988. This night was mosty spent avoiding ditches and scums. Although it ended up not being all that bad of a night. I didn’t know it at the time but that night has will change my life a great deal! Right Monkey?!?! Most Admired: I admire my mother the most. She has went through a lot, and still managed to take time out for her kids. Always making sure we have a fulls stomach, money in our pockets, and a watch on our arms to be home by 12:00! THANKS MOMMA! Future Plans: I plan to get rich fast, buy a house, first of all for my mother — set her up for life. God knows she needs it. Buy my own house for Tim and I. Buy lots of fish, cars and ice cream. Own my own Chinese restaurant and be open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Get a tiger, lion, seal, eagle, dog, cat, snake, rabbit, and dolphin. Have kids, grow old and gray and slowly fade away. Interests: Tim, goldfish, Mistey, fixing my boyfriend’s car, Rock -n- Roll, playing with my monkey, road trips, doing doughnuts in strange country yards, and faded blue jeans. SEAN DALE REEDER Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4, Baseball 1, 2, Track 1, 2, 3, Letterman’s Club 2, 3, 4, Spanish Club 1, 2, 3, 4, R -n- R 1, 2, 3, 4. Most Memorable Moment: Losing my jeans one night in Charleston. Halloween, GUNS- N- ROSES concert. Most Admired: Everyone who takes a chance and does what they really want to do instead of just being safe and not taking a chance. Future Plans: Become a seamen and then move on to become the shuffle board champion of the WORLD! Interests: Mustangs, Guns n’ Roses, nude beaches, climbing trees upside down, partin’ with the pups, jammin’ on my guitar, and concerts. SHAWN ANNETTE RUSSELL (Gooch) Activities: DAVC 3, 4, FHA 3, 4, Vice President. Most Memorable Moment: All the times that Cindy and I tried running away, and all the other great moments that are to vulgar to say. Most Admired: My Gram’s, because she’s so young at heart. My parents for putting up with me for so long. Future Plans: To continue working at Wolly-World until I’m old and gray! Interests: To go cruising with all my friends hanging out on the square. ADLAI EDWARD SAYERS (Snad) Activities: FFA 1, 2, 3, 4, Treasurer 3, FHA 4. Most Memorable Moment: 6th hour study hall my freshman year. We (Russ, Chris Adlai) used to sneak food, and soda pop by Mrs. Schleighsinger. She never caught us for about 18 weeks and then at that she never really found out, so now she knows. Most Admired: Mr. Lawerence Gregory. He has that bad arm but he never ever let that become any type of handicap for him. If you ever needed anything done he could do it. Future Plans: Illinois National Guard all the way!!! Come back from New Jersey, get my $50,000 a year job and sit back and let the good times roll on! Interests: Fast cars and trucks (try me! Come on!), Clinton square, Weldon “square”. Rock -n- Roll, HANK!!, my truck!! RUSSELL EUGENE SCHWARTZ Activities: Basketball 1, Spanish Club 1. Most Memorable Moment: Our freshmen year, in 6th hour study hall, when we didn’t have a teacher, and Mr. Heller had the intercom on in the library, and Chris Reeser was making bird noises in the intercom, and Heller came down to S.H. Chris had to explain what he was doing. Most Admired: Myself — Because nobody else needs to be admired but me. Future Plans: Take over Tricky Dicky’s, Weldon State Bank, or make bombs for Star Wars, and if all else fails, go to work at AA and end up counseling my brother. Interests: Basketball, mini-trucks, being modest, and hangin’ with the guys. DEREK ALLEN TRIMBLE (Speedy) Activities: FFA 1, 2, 3, Class Treasurer 3, 4, Track 1, 4 Most Memorable Moment: My junior year when me, Matt B., Mat F., Russ, Adlai, and Rick Houston drove Mrs. Brown crazy in 6th hour study hall. Most Admired: To go to Parkland then, become a truck driver and own my own business. Interests: Trucking, Farming, Insulting Smith and Baker, and being with Bake, Smith, Fletch, Russ, and Brad, and Clark. JUSTIN JAMES SMITH (Mr. Mith, Ustin) Activities: Baseball 1, Bsketball 1, 2, 3, 4, Track 1, 2, 3, 4, Letterman’s Club 2, 3, 4, Spanish Club 1, 2 Most Memorable Moment: Traveling to Indy with Fletch and Brock to Monsters of Rock, and running into a few obstacles along the way. (By the way, you two still owe me for the hotel room and thinking of the sink for a temporary refrigerator. Fletch: I’ll buy you a bottle opener when you turn 21, ok?) Also, seeing Stevie Ray Vaughan up close in Danville with Bake Fletch. (NO TRESSPASSING!) Most Admired: Stevie Ray Vaughan — Because he kicks better than anyone else on the guitar. (Yes Reeder, even Slash) Also Mat Fletcher — because he managed to get almost every female in Monticello, Weldon, DeLand to hate him all in one summer. Future Plans: Go to college out West, graduate and pick up bear crap to my heart’s content. (And send a few choice samples back to my two favorite seamen.) If that doesn’t work, I want to move next door to Curtis G. and discuss alternate dimensions with him until I die. Interests: Trying to count all of Fletcher’s women on my fingers toes, running, weight training, basketball, classic rock -n- roll, Buick Gran Sports, and Stevie Ray Vaughan! (Right Dave?) BRADLEY RAYMOND WACHOB (Chuck) Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4, Track 1, FFA 1, 2, Letterman’s Club 4 Most Memorable Moment: Riding the pony with Shayne to see Nugent! Going to Perk’s apartment with Blazek! And Smith eating captain crunch at Bake’s house. Future Plans: Go to Lake Land College to be a Diesel Mechanic. When I get out of there I’ll probably be a bum, and ride bikes with Bob! Interests: Trucks, loud music, crusin, and partying with my friends. DAVID ALLEN WOOLRIDGE (Dandy) Activities: FHA 4, Baseball 2, 4 (When eligible) Most Memorable Moment: When I first moved here I went out with Weiner and he ran over my foot. Then when Weiner, Sean, and Stud Muffin (Mat Fletcher), and I went to the poison concert and Weiner ran over Sean’s foot. The Bov Can’t Drive!! Most Admired: The King, Mat Fletcher because he is a Preppy Stud Muffin and gets all the women. Future Plans: To wipe out Justin Smith’s entire Stevie Ray Vaughn record collection. Interests: GUN -N- ROSES, very loud, rude, crude, and good time rock -n- roll music. Going out with the boys.
