GREGORY DALE ALLEN Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4 Baseball 3 Most Memorable Moment: Basketball Most Admired: Nate “Tiny” Archibald, He was favorite Boston Celtic ball player of all time. And of course, Larry Bird for being the best ever to play the game. Future Plans: Pose as a skinhead so I get on Geraldo Rivera’s talk show and break his nose. After that, I’ll move to Boston and become the next voice of the Boston Celtics. Also, I wouldn’t mind smoking a victory cigar with Red Auerbach. Interests: My bubble blower, Ken and Barbie, fish bowls, athletes foot, moldy cheese, Boston Celtics, picking berries, Ronald Reagan, Mr. Rodgers, KISS, and Definitely not school. MATTHEW ELLIOTT BAKER (Tater- head) Activities: Student Council 3, 4 Spanish Club 1, FFA 1, 2, 3 Basketball 1, 2, 4, Class Pres. 1, 4 Most Memorable Moment: Dashers timber in the Rambler, G ‘n’ R Concert and that unforgettable night in Champaign when I got to sit in the back of a white Chrysler with blue and red lights on top of it. Most Admired: Brett Baker, because of his ability to round up fat chicks with a snap of his finger and Justin Smith because he can face the public in an old Buick. Future Plans: Graduate and go to the Navy for 6 years. Then settle down somewhere and own the things that I’ve always wanted. Interests: Fords, Lincolns, and Mercurys, Harley’s Music, slandering GM products, and insulting Mr. Mith and Trimble. MATHEW ALAN FLETCHER (Fletch) Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4, Baseball I, 2, Spanish Club 1, 2, 3, 4 Letterman’s Club 2, 3, 4 Student Council 4 (Treasurer) Picking up slips 3, 4, National Honor Society — maybe? Filling Pop Machines 2, 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: All the great times with THE BEAST, Getting my sign, That summer night on, campus with Bake — ‘‘Up against the cars”, all the concerts — especially going with Reeder, The year of the Physics dorks, and our fearless leader Phil (The Purple Blaze) Blazier, October 23, 1986 — who can forget that — Ba Ha! The year of Mrs. Brown’s study hall — “I’m gonna kill your kid.”, and lastly — every time somebody puked and I was there. Most Admired: Mr. Chris Haikalis A.K.A. — THE COACH. What can I say about this man, he was the best role model I could ever have. He did so much for me — like the time he told me to get off the uppers, and he helped our team beat Uni-High with IT TRUE? the crafty trick of using reverse psychology. I owe to this man a wonderful 4 win season. Gee — what a great guy. Future Plans: Go to Eastern for a couple of years majoring in Engineering and then transferring to the U of I to finish up. After that I’d like to get a good job and try the bachelor life for awhile. Eventually I’ll get married become so successful that I’ll never ever have to carry out another bag of groceries. Interests: Taking up a lot of space on the Senior pages in the yearbook, laughing at everybody, perfecting my sleeping in school technique, staying home forging notes — Ha Ha you never caught me!! Drawing attention to myself, getting out of High School, and finally — gettin what I can, and cannin’ what I get. P.S. — Wish you were here C.R. ERIC SHANE FOLLOWELL (monk-monk) Activities: Baseball 1, 2, 3, 4 Letterman’s Club 1, 2, 3, 4, FFA 1, 2, DA VC 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: Going to Chris Brock’s house so that Chris, Tara, Jane, and I can watch VCR movies and have fun all night. Also when Shane Brinkman and I wrecked my brother’s car on the Monticello blacktop. Most Admired: Lisa Phillips for having the biggest nose to stick in everyone’s business but her own. Future Plans: LakeLand Community to attend for 2 years. And to pose nude in the centerfold of Playgirl Magazine. LISA RENEGUM (Flex) Activities: Yearbook 2, 3, 4, FHA President 3, 4, DA VC 3, 4, FHA 1, 2 Future Plans: To get out of school and find a job in an office someplace. Interests: Having fun with friends. PARTY’N. KIMBERLY DAWN HOGAN (Hoag — but unfortunately Jill started Berly.) Activities: Cheerleading 1, 2, 3, Volleyball 1, 2, 3, 4, Softball 1, 4, Band 1, 2, 3, 4. Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4, Play 1, Musical 4, Yearbook 2, 3, 4, Spanish Club 1, 2, 3, 4, Letterman’s Club 2, 3, 4, FHA 4, Class Vice President 1, 2, 3, Student Council President 4, National Honor Society 3, 4 Most Memorable Moment: Valentine’s Day (Night), 1987 — The day after I got my license. Remember, Jill? Most Admired: Jim McMahon — he’s unique. He does what he wants — without worrying about what others may thing. Future Plans: I plan on getting out of this hick-town and going to school at Eastern for 4 years. I hope to major in accounting (and minor in partying). After that I will get a good job that pays lots of money. Then I will settle down and hopefully become Mrs. Michael Brian Perkins. Interests: Music, poetry, opening presents, Spanish with Mrs. Brown, Rob Lowe, weekends with my friends (and Bud), shopping, money, beautiful sunny days, tractor rides, and of course, Brian. KARA JO MANNING (Kara Monster) Activities: Band 1, 2, 3, 4, President 4, Chorus 1, 2, 3, 4, Secretary 2, Solo Ensemble Contest 1, 2, 3, 4, Pom-Pon 1, 2, 3, 4, Spanish Club 2, 3, 4, Vice President 2, Spanish Honor Society 3, 4, IMEA District Band 2, 4 IMEA District Chorus 1, Volleyball 2, Stat 3, Class Secretary 4, Library Club 1, Musical 2, 4, School Play 1. Most Memorable Moment: My junior year, May 17 -’88, March 9th 1988, eighth hours (very interesting times!). Putting the car in a field, trips home from school via Bement, Monticello, Champaign, when a certain object hit the fan at Tonya’s, Prom ’88, May 20, 1988, the night lab after the chili supper. Most Admired: Robin Borton Scott — for her talent dedication; Rindo, Tonya, and Jennifer for friendship, support, an occasional loan, my family for the love, Mr. Blazier for the bad humor, the interesting times, the most important lesson, most of all the PATIENCE. Future Plans: After I graduate I plan to spend 2 years at Parkland studying Music Education and Spanish or Computers then get my bachelors degree in Music from either U of I, Wesleyan, or Northern. After a few years of teaching music I’d like to go back to get my masters in music. I also want to fall in love, get married, have 4 kids: Andrew Philip (Drew), Mishelle Breann, Laura Kristine, Nicholas Ryan live happily ever after in a big white Victorian house. Interests: Playing piano sax, singing, dancing, listening to music, driving, riding horses, being with friends or alone outside, DAYDREAMING, not College Prep. Math!!! SHERI DAWN McDORMAND (Jumpy, Red, MceeDee) Activities: Spanish Club 2, FFA 3, 4, FHA 3, 4, Student Council 3 Most Memorable Moment: The night Tami Allen my park got crashed.
