THINK DELAND-WELDON HIGH SCHOOL If this mokes you think small, think ogoin. Deland-Weldon High School hosted both the boys' basketball and girls' volleyball regionol tournaments. Not only did the girls’ volleyball team record o winning season, they advanced to the regionol championship, (placing second). New faces included Mrs. Logon, guidance counselor, and volleyball cooch and Mrs. Hermann, who substituted during Mrs. Show's leave. New additions come literally to Mrs. Show (o baby girl) and figuratively for Mr. Bowen, who picked up the added responsibilities of high school principal and athletic director. The Senior Class adventured to Florida by way of Chicago and Washington, D C. on the now infamous (in our memories, anyway) Amtrok. Money, Power, Murder, Lust, Revenge, and Marvelous Clothes become the forum to spotlight our local talent.
