76-77 Dedication Many people do not realize the many things that a band director of a championship band does behind the scene. There are many endless hours of select- ing songs for marching, concerts, and contest; rewriting many songs; arranging the competi- tion show; meeting with other directors; attend- ing workshops; working with each student; and the list goes on. Without the dedica- tion and love of our di- rector the D-W band would not be the cham- pions they are today.
