Miss Borys Miss Cynthia Borys taught her first year at Deland- Weldon this year with French I, II, III, and English IV. She was the sponsor of AFS, urging the club to try its best to make money and to make Toughy feel at home. Miss Borys was also the co-director of the Junior Class Play.

Mr. Blazier Mr. Phil Blazier taught Elementary Math, Algebra II, Advanced Math, and Physics. Each class was intelligently taught and intelligently suffered through. The physics class worked to build a spaceship and to present a Science Fair at the end of the year. He was junior class sponsor and director of the senior class play. 12 GEORGE W. Smiley He flies through the air with the greatest of ease Mr. Dobbs Mr. Clifford Dobbs was our very courageous Driver’s Education teacher, helping the sophomores understand the fundamentals of safe driving. He also led our football team through victories and losses. This year, for the first time, Mr. Dobbs was appointed assistant basketball coach. He is an advisor of the sophomore class. Catch that fish!
