Chapin 108 Graduation 72 The senior class graduated on May 25, at 8 : 00 p. m. A musical selection was provided by the seniors entitled One Tin Soldier which was ar- ranged by Mr. Gregg Kuetemeyer. Speeches were given by the Valedictorian Jan Hermann and Salu- tatorian Mark Fisher. The diplomas were presented to the class by Allison Perring President of the Board of Education. I finally made it! 109 On Sunday, May 28, 34 graduated seniors, Mrs. Leischner and Mr. and Mrs. Heavilin left for a fun filled week in Florida. Some tried to sleep on the bus in some very unusual places. Andy kept some up with his music. He kept his music up all the way to Florida and back. The first sightseeing stop was in Atlanta to see the Undergound Atlanta. Some found it very boring until . . . Some girls spied Ben Murphy from Alais Smith and Jones”. As all the girls made a mad dash for Ben to get a better look some of the boys had a good laugh about the whole thing. Marincland proved to be work for some and a lot of fun for others. Jan was picked to be a fish feeder at the show. Walt Disney World was a day of fun, sore feet and sunburn. Almost everyone went on the rides and to the different shows. Some saw Anita Bryant on Main Street U. S. A . Some of the boys found some of their long lost relatives in the zoo. The dream had came true and it all ended at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, when 34 seniors arrived at the school. Busch was a combination brewery and zoo. Everyone felt that we should at least get a sample of their product. Mr. Heavilin felt that some of us belonged in the zoo. Ill BOOSTERS MONTICELLO CLINTON Monticello Kirby Co.
