Home Making The freshmen in Homemaking learn the p’s and q’s of serving meals. The Sophomore class studies the cuts of meats and colors that look best for different complexions. Family Living students discuss many prob- lems which they will face after marriage. Agriculture The agriculture classes learn much about farming and agronomy in general. Every boy has a project which he does his best to develop and on which he keeps records. To those continuing as farmers, the information acquired in the classroom on grain production, stock, soil con- servation, and farm management will be most valuable.

mm Commerce In bookkeeping the stu- dents get lots of practice in addition because they have to do two practice sets a year plus their daily exercises. One of the jobs of the office monitor is to run the ditto machine. Here we see Shirley run- ning off the schedule of the week ' s events. Danny Shofner, one of the office practice stu- dents, is putting Books into the storage room. In shorthand II the students learn about office procedures, take dictation, and transcribe letters.

Mr. Moody, guidance counselor Guidance Mr. Moody advises Doug Halcomb, Bob Leischner, and Dean Parrish concerning their future careers. Physical Education Ail students take physical education, which includes wrestling, tumbling, volleyball, floor soccer, baseball, basketball, and track for boys and archery, volley tennis, volleyball, and badminton for girls. Both girls and boys take one six weeks of swimming. The P.E. students also take the physical fitness tests.
