CLASS PROPHECY In the year of 1962, we are found cruising along at 3, 000 mph in oui Stratosphere Cruiser designed by Art Beck while employed by Lockheed. Our first stop at a Belgian Congo airfield we meet Jack Carr, famous scientist, explorer, adventurer, and geologist, who is about to leave on a trip into Africa. As we leave for a tour of the city, we hop into a taxi driven by Jack Grant, the owner of the Grant Taxi Cab Chain. Our visit here was climaxed by a dinner served in Mert ' s Restaurant owned by Myrtle Ensign. As we board the plane to resume our journey, we find our hostess to be Marilyn Twist who is happy in her job and seems interested in a handsome pilot named John. As we approach the Tokyo Airport we pass over a huge lingerie factory operated by James Smith and Richard Lubbers where the worlds finest silks are modeled by June Franklin. Our entertainment for the evening was an outstanding demonstration of the latest dancing steps by Joe Sprague and his assistant Veda Parrish, who also runs the Parrish Telephone Co. in Tokyo. Coming back to the cruiser we find a large ship carrying samples of the latest criminal equip- ment designed by the Allan and Keur Detective Agency. Finally we land in a typical U.S. city, where we find Norma Barton is still single. We were disappointed to find Margaret Radley suffering from a slight case of flu which she contacted while abroad with her husband General John Cornwell. As we drive in the country we pass the famous Duroc Ranch where we find Charles Baker engaged in swine raising. He is married and has twin boys. His neighbor is Beverly Shaw who manages a chain of Woolworth dime stores. She has a new 1962 Chevie with dual holly woods. Returning to the city we read posters advertising the approaching exhibition game of out -standing basket- ball players which includes the All-American Terry Glynn. Walking down Main Street we pass a garage owned and operated by Wayne Clifton. It is rumored that Wayne has the latest thing in hot-rods. The former Beverly Swartz has given up her position as an interior decorator and is now living in New York with her husband and two children. Crossing the street we come upon the Miller and Son Hardware Store. Mrs. Miller is the former Sheredith McCready. About to run out of gas, we stop at a filling-station run by Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Edwards. Mrs. Edwards is the former Donna Cozad. Leaving we hear the Senator, Betty Rule closing one of her speeches on opium and marijuana in the widespread campaign against narcotics. Happy to return from such a pleasant journey, we report that the senior class of 1952 has a good start on the future. ANNUAL STAFF
