All rehearsals are held after school hours. The members receive no academic credit and all finances are raised through student projects. The 1973 Concert Choir received more awards than any other High School Choral group in Northwest Missouri. Among the awards received were: First place in the National Public Radio choral competition and most outstanding Swing Choir at Northwest Missouri State University competition.
