What was thought to be a poor season saw Dayville turn in a season record of 13 wins and 4 losses. The first three places in the 7-B tournament and Tri-County league play were the same with Prairie City, firstg Mount Vernon, second, and Dayville, third. Dayville encountered two new teams this year. They were the Ukiah Cougars and the Lumberjacks from Council, Idaho. Gib Gregg, captain of the squad, will be the only one lost through graduation and he will be missed when the season rolls around again.
