JuNloR-SENIOR ASSEMBLY The Junior-Senior Assembly was held November 9th, in the Gym. Making up the 45 minutes of entertainment was the Dollies of the Follies, by the Junior and Senior girls, The Red Onion Five , and the Lone Stranger by the Junior and Senior boys. After two weeks of school the Freshmen's teeth were really chattering. It was the beginning of Initiation, which was to last one week. First of all the Sophomores gave us a piece of paper on which was written what we were to wear. We were all glad to see Friday come, which meant the last day of initiation, yet we dreaded the initiation party. Friday night at the party, the Freshmen were all sent outside, but to the surprise of the Sophomores, we were watching what they were mixing up for us to eat and mess in. It was purex, soap, and etc. Then we were brought inside and blindfolded. Each person was seperately initiated into the high school by eating Caviar, Chili Sauce, Tobasco Sauce, and worms, which were really spaghetti. V We were dumped in a tub of flour dough with egg shells. Afterwards they fed us ice cream, cookies, and Kool aid, although our appetite was ruined for the night.
