PROPI-IECY May 42, 10 A. B. qAfter Atom Bombj Dear Diary, Today we saddled up Old Paint, our faithful old caribou, known to the commoners as reindeer. We mounted, and headed for Dayville Qmore commonly known as l-lole in the Ground j which ls noted for its modern fossils. As we were riding down the highway, better known as the Cow Trail , we suddenly smelled smoke and then we saw Lillamay go by in her rocket ship, Gypsy. As she flew by, she dropped us a note saying she couldn't stop because her loving husband, Rob Roy Eisenhower, was waiting for her in China. We then rode further down the cow trail and stopped at Junction City. Ut is remembered by old timers as just the junctionj. There we saw Gib fthe hermitj Gregg, running the space station, and selling atoms for 106 a pound, which is very low in this part of the country. we trotted along for about five miles, and up by the old Weatherford homestead we met Glee. She is now Bubble Gum Queen of Dayville. We asked her why she never married and she told us she was too busy collecting gum wrappers to be interested in men. Our last stop was at Cummingsville, where we saw Jody and her husband, fwho happens to be one of her old flamesj. She told us she now has 20 kids and is expecting more. By the way, she owns a goat farm. We then climbed aboard Old Paint and headed for other parts of the country, which are not yet named.
