Library 'Assistants Peggy Jamison, Ellen Shick, Mary McCafferty, Donna Stear, Marilyn Brociaus, Joanne McMeans, Mrs. Jewart, Phyllis Brocious, Bonnie Bish, Velma Shick, Sally Quinn, Gloria Reedy. Our newly furnished library is bustling with activity, especially during seventh periods, when Mrs. Jewart and her assistants are busy checking out books. Each school year new and interesting books are purchased for the library through the school funds. Among these are tales of adventure, romances, and mystery stories as well as many fine biographies and autobiographies. For ref- erence work there are four sets of encyclopedias -WORLD BOOK, BRITANNICA, BRITANNICA JUNIOR, and COMPTON'S. In the library, just waiting to be read, are such books as FIRST LOVE, TRUE LOVE, ROSE- MARY, MARCIA, TRISH, CHRISTINE BENNETT, CHEMIST for girls, ROOKIE FIRST BASEMAN, TOUCHDOWN TO VICTORY, and REBOUND for sports enthusiasts. For the individual with a flair for mystery and adventure, there are WATERFRONT, MYS- TERY OF THE BONG HOUSE, and THE ISLAND STALLION. Science and chemistry enthusiasts find SCAPEL AND TIME, and A NEW BOOK OF CHEMISTRY to their taste. The library contains the following: Books approximately 5000 Magazines ., ., I4 Papers ..., two papers daily On an average a hundred and fifty stu- dents use the library each day. These students go for information for use in their studies, such as special reports for their classes, and also for books which they read in their leisure time.
