Class of I966 Mr. Harshman, sophomore class adviser, greatly aided this class in representing DHS in the year 1963-64. These eighty-odd boys and girls sponsored the annual Freshman-Sophomore party which served as a get-acquainted party for the new freshmen. Athletics called a large number of sophomore boys. Rick Korsberg, Jim Woolson, Dain Nysoe, David Leseman, Mike Canright, Tony Osborne and John Ewing, supported the Junior Varsity foot- ball team. Steve Schreck served as one of the able managers for the Varsity football team. Basketball players included Dan Butler, Steve Dingle, Eric Floyd, Rick Korsberg, Gene Matthews, Steve Schreck and Jerry Willey. The sophomore girls played a large part in the local FHA group. Many of them served as officers for this year, with Elizabeth Harri as president-elect for the year 1964-65. She will be aided closely by her two vice-presidents, Kristan Knapp and Linda Daggett. Linda Daggett attended the State FHA meeting in Seattle, and ran for State Treasurer. The sophomores continued their sale of DHS banners and sponsored sockhops after the games. Next year they move up as Mighty Juniors. -
