OUR FIRST MISSIUNARIES DBI has always placed a missionary emphasis in its school program. Missionary clubs have played an important part in our practical work program. The missionary emphasis will be further perpetuated by our own alumni being represented in Venezuela. The three years that Sister Swigart and Sister Thompson attended DBI, their constant desire was to build all missionary endeavors. Their many nights in prayer praying for other missionaries will pay dividends to them while laboring in their own fields. Their zeal and fervor for the missionary work has tired many of the present students who will in turn be praying for ONR FIRST MlSSlONARlES.

I 1 STUDENT-FACULTY COUNCIL Dayton Bible Institute has always believed in joint responsibility of faculty and students in maintaining spiritual and democratic standards while preparing for future fields of service. Students and faculty engage in a joint, government designed to help the in- dividual to discover, clarify and work out his education interests and concerns in cooperation with and under the guidance of fellow students and teachers. The governing agency is the Student-Faculty Council. It is composed of thirteen students and four members and the Dean of the Institute ex-officio. The student members are elected by ballot in each of the three grade of class. Each class, freshman, junior, senior, shall elect a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, who shall serve their respective classes and serve as members of the Student-Faculty Council. Tl1e chaped president shall also serve on this council. The faculty members are appointed by the faculty. ' The Student-Faculty Council is empowered to organize and direct the non- academic life of D. B. I. students, in this respect it has power to make regulations, always within the ultimate authority exercised by the Board of Trustees, through the administration of the Institute. Extra curricular activities are under the guidance of this council. The Student-Faculty Council deals with infractions cf the Honor Code and recommends to the Administration measures of action and decorum to the infractor. Recommendations for measures designed to improve the Honor Code may also be submitted for Administration ratification.
