HARVESTERS' CLASS HISTORY Class of '51 We the Senior class of 1951 first graduates of Dayton Bible Institute, wish to give you a summary of some of the events that have happened in our three years of schooling. On December 19, 1950 other students wondered why the members of 'our class were so excited. It was on this day that a baby girl, Linda Kay, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Maglott. Our class was very proud for the fact that Brother and Sister Maglott were the parents of DBI. lt was wonderful news to hear of this event, but our hearts rejoiced more as we saw our Dean dedicate Linda Kay to the Lord. The Maglotts are now the pastors of the Ithaca Open Bible Church of God is blessing the ministry in many ways. - Two of our teachers have returned from our teaching staff to serve as assistant pastors elsewhere. We were sorry to hear of their resignation, but are happy to see them working for the Lord and having His blessing upon their ministry. Another member of our faculty, God saw fit to call home to his rewards. O'n May 28, 1949 our hearts were grieved to hear this, but yet we rejoice for we realize that some day we will be able to have fellowship with him again. The Rev. Willard D. Spencer whom the Lord saw fit to take home had previously taugh Bible Atlas and 'Personal Evange- lism at Dayton Bible Institute. He was also pastor of the Open Bible Church in Bel- mont and God had given him a marvelous ministry. Our class has quite a few who have been working for the Lord in various churches, while yet In school. Frances Swigart, a chalk artist, Edwin Stamper, photographer, Arthur Maglott, pastor of lthaca Open Bible Church, Clyde Moore, pastor of church in Pennsylvania, and Pierce Reed an evangelist. God has been blessing these students as they have been working for the Glory of the Lord. Throughout our threelyears of school we have had some of our students to assist the school.
